The 30837 rod antenna is designed to work with vehicle radiotelephones operating in frequency bands:

  • 164 ÷ 174 MHz,
  • 380 ÷ 430 MHz,
  • 450 ÷ 470 MHz.

The 3, 6 and 7 versions of the 30837 antenna include additional GPS antenna built in base. The 30837/7 antenna also operates in GSM-UMTS frequency bands. The 30837/8 antenna has two interchangeable antenna's rods – one for na 380 ÷ 400 MHz and second for 450 ÷ 470 MHz. The appeareance of the antenna is similar to a typical car audio antenna, so it is perfect to special applications. The version 1 of the antenna ends with 7m long antenna cable. the other version (2÷10) are equipped with extension cables of 7m length.

Operating conditions:

Antenna needs to be mounted to the metal body of a vehicle in of a typical place car audio antenna. The hole of a diameter 18,2 mm or 15x15mm  square (for version 1) ora hole of a diameter 19 mm (for versions 2 ÷ 10) in the bodywork of a vehicle is required for installation of the antenna. During the installation it is particularly important to ensure a galvanic contact between the nut fastening the antenna's base and the bodywork of a vehicle.
