The tactical trainer of radio network having possibility to introduce intentional interferences is supported by the methodology of E-Learning. Basic PR4G F@STNET Radio System Trainer set consists of the network of four users: Teacher‘s stand and three Students’ stands.

Teacher’s stand consists of:

  • RRC9210 radio set;
  • PC (display, keyboard, mouse);
  • headset with microphone;
  • GPS signal amplifier ;
  • USB converter;
  • radio interferences’ simulator;
  • AC/DC adapter;
  • main frame;
  • transmission cables and network cabling;
  • 10/100 Mb multi-port switch;
  • software dedicated to Teacher’s stand;
  • bag designed for simulator and display.

Student’s stand:

  • RRC9210 radio set (option);
  • PC computer (display, keyboard, mouse);
  • headset with microphone;
  • AC/DC adapter;
  • frame;
  • transmission cables and network cabling;
  • software dedicated to Student’s stand;
  • bag designed for simulator and display.

Advantages:

  • providing training in the classroom through the use of interaction with the actual radio set;
  • continuous supervision by the Teacher over the activities of the Students and possibility to communicate independently with each of them (supervision of the Students by the Teacher in the battlefield is not possible because of the distance between the radios);
  • providing multi-level courses for radio operators - from basic to more advanced support;
  • repeatability of practical exercises;
  • automatic allocation of tasks for Students allowing for comprehensive knowledge of radio modes.

Features:

  • management of the system via Teacher’s computer LAN network;
  • preparation of the radio data to operate in the radio network, changing the level of radio interferences, remote programming and radio off;
  • control of attenuation of radio interface;
  • simulating the radio network from 3 * up to 8 radios;
  • receiving GPS signals from the repeater in the classroom.
